AAJ-Meeting in Japan

The first meeting of the AAJ outside Austria was held on 29 September 2001 in Tokyo. Many of our members living in Japan had expressed a wish to organize an informal social gathering in order to get acquainted and exchange ideas. The success of this meeting is largely due to the hospitality of Ms. Schreck into whose house we had been invited. 28 members attended, some of them had travelled to Tokyo specifically for this purpose. This greatly exceeded our expectations and it has been suggested to hold similar gatherings more frequently in the future.
